why london?
Why does it have to be London? Keep this load of crap in your own country!

Haven't YOU got anything better to do other than winge about other people's postings on IMDB?
shareI'm guessing cause Americans, like myself, recognise London better than other place in England and can relate to it more. I can't say anything about portrayal though. And it's not my fault. Go talk to the people who MADE the movies.

tessaluvsmovies. You haven't answered the question. He was saying why crap cheap american dross is filmed in London.
We don't need this cheep sterotypical view of English people (all tea at noon)
being used for bloody Americans amusement.
American movie-goers only recognise the clock tower that houses Big Ben and Tower bridge. It is a waste of money to film for the majority of Americans who don't leave their State, (Or their chairs).
Please if you are going to make dross keep it in your own country so our film making staff can carry on making films with a lot more class.
This isn't a hospital! It's an insane asylum! And it's all your fault!
Hey... I'm sorry. Really. I didn't mean to stir anything. And just to show how stupid I am (and please don't relate this to all Americans) but I don't know what dross means.
I saw the movie yesterday and I was not pleased, as well. My sister studied in London last year and I'm sure that it's better than the crap they protray it in this movie. I'm sorry if it offends you and I'm sorry that I didn't answer the question. Just, that it isn't my fault if they made the movie like that. and I don't know, but I'd like to visit London someday. but i know that I could never really do that, seeing that I can't afford it, so I watch movies with it in there. Too bad it was just protrayed with the stupid stereotype.
Didn't mean to offend you.

Thank you for the apology.
Dross means crap, rubbish and all other words that mean bad.
This isn't a hospital! It's an insane asylum! And it's all your fault!
I swear I already posted a reply to this, but I'll type it again. No prob.
Thanks for accepting my apology. and thanks for telling me what it means without any hints of sarcasm and rudeness. seriously. Thanks! I like learning new things.

Excuse me, isn't the director of this movie from the UK?
Also, aren't some of the actors also from the UK?
Not everything made in the UK is quality, dear - TOM JONES for instance, yuk.
Hollywood puts out a lot of poor quality, and it's true, stereotypes do get old,
but considering the massive quantity of movies being made, one has to expect
some failure.
By the way, thanks for the tip, I probably won't waste my time with this movie.
