What really bothered me is once again Cody doesnt prepare for a mission. He goes in thinking he can wing it, not knowing anything about music. The first time was ok, but you'd think they'd learn.
While I agree that this movie wasn't anywhere near as good as the first, Cody didn't go into his mission thinking he could wing playing the clarinet. He told the director right off that, no, he can't play it, he just faked it in the marching band to meet girls.
What, did you expect him to learn how to play the clarinet to concert-level on the flight from Seattle to London? Sure, he might learn the fingerings for most notes, but he isn't really going to be able to play much more than "Mary Had a Little Lamb" in 12 hours. Of course, that's assuming he already knows how to read music.
