How did Jane Smith reattach all the demolition bomb wires in time?

In the scene in the desert where Jane Smith and John Smith have both been sent to destroy that convoy of vehicles. We get to see John Smith activate the countdown for the bombs that Jane have planted in the ground, next we see Jane forcefully pull out all of the connecting wires out of the detonator to deactivate the countdown.

But then when the convoy trips the detection devices, the countdown is re-initiated. How did Jane have time to reattach all of the wires?

What wires?? John smith came from the west, while the target came from the east. So John Smith activated the bombs early, and Jane just had to stop the countdown. Then the targets activated the bomb from the other end..

I'm sure that's a question that none of the producers of this movie asked. Kind of like asking, should we really make a movie that sucks this much?
