Lots of action sequences, and the production took many months off in the middle of shooting so Pitt could film Ocean's Twelve.
They also did some reshoots and shot a new ending in March and April 2005 very close to the premiere in June 2005.
Liman talks about it on the DVD and how he was so sure Soderbergh would never start Ocean's 12 on time but he did hence losing Pitt for months. Liman reshot an assassination attempt scene in August 2004 turning an already partially shot snowy ravine scene into a desert scene and then shot scenes in Italy in late October 2004.
