Why is his parents' surname Silver?
That's how they're listed in the credits, too--but Albert's name is Markovski.
shareI think his mother re-married a man named Silver. I think it's more likely the latter, as Mr. Silver calls his wife "your mother" to Albert in a way that makes it seem the two do not share a blood relation.
Either that, or "Markovski" is a pen name he uses for his poetry and goes by full time - a way for him to separate himself from his pedestrian parents.
