I am rewatching the movie which i really like but i notice no one has commented on Julie. It irrates me to no end that first U see Everetts eyes light up and a huge smile when he sees her (he crushes on his soon to be sister in law) and then the whole family is fawning all over her when they wouldnt give Merideth a chance. And the thing that bothers me the most is Julie & Everett liking each other then getting together I mean if it was my sister I would never have done that to her and I dont know does Julie bother anyone else (and the family)

And Julie says nothing at the dinner table to defend her sister, not even when Sibyll calls her an a**hole.

I too found it odd how they were falling all over each other welcoming her into the house and being so friendly to her when they decided they disliked Meredith before she even walked in the house.

Although it is frustrating that they don't seem to give Meredith a chance, and welcome Julie with open arms, I think this is due to them already having a negative thought about Meredith due to everything that Amy has told them.

I couldn't even do what Julie does to a friend! She is a hoe! She comes on to her sister's boyfriend & even seems excited when she "thought" he was coming back to her room at the inn. Then she has the nerve to lecture Meredith about what she thought happened with Ben! I love how she tries to shift the attention off of why she's wearing the ring. She's as bad as the others. Worse because she's her sister! I fast forward past the excruciating scenes between Julie & Everett!

Are people forgetting that Meredith ends up with Luke Wilson's character? I find it hilarious that everyone is calling Julie a hoe when Meredith did the same exact thing.

Yeah, but Meredith was basically ditched by her (ex)could've-been-fiance - he never said one thing to back her up to his family who basically crucified her. Julie came in and everyone LOVED her. The odds were pretty much all stacked up against Meredith.

Everett went after her sister...after telling his mother that he was going to propose to Meredith. Who DOES that??? Meredith ended up with Luke Wilson only because he was the only who "cared" about her - not even Everett did that! Meredith didn't openly go after Luke Wilson - she was even uncomfortable when he touched her (in a non-threatening way).

If Julie really loved her sister, she wouldn't have gone for Everett - she was in his arms not 24 hours after he broke up with Meredith! Friends don't do that kind of sh*t, let alone SISTERS! So, in that sense, YES Julie is a hoe.

If Julie really loved her sister, she wouldn't have gone for Everett - she was in his arms not 24 hours after he broke up with Meredith! Friends don't do that kind of sh*t, let alone SISTERS! So, in that sense, YES Julie is a hoe.

^^ This... This is worse than hooking up with your best friends ex boyfriend. This is blood. You don't flirt/date/hook-up with your sisters boyfriend/fiancee. Julie knew how much Meredith loved him and she still went after him.

I couldn't stand either Meredith or Julie. But Julie is the worst.
