Question about the soap...

What was the soap sniffing scene all about? I don't know what it was supposed to mean, maybe I'm too old, but I'd really like to know what it meant.

It didnt mean anything. She was just sniffing the soap.

Just a nervous reaction to stress. I imagine it was a SJP thing and they just left it in.
