Is Luke Wilson in love with SJP's character

shareI don't think it's possible for someone to just fall in love with someone else before getting to know them. I think Luke was attracted to SJP from the beginning, and as they spent time together he grew to like her personality and then, at least by the next Xmas, love her.

I think he was attracted to her right away, but I'm not sure he was in love with her until later in the movie. I think he was MUCH more attracted to her after she showed a different part of her personality to him. Had she stayed together with Everett, God help her, I think he would have been a big supporter of hers. I'm glad they just ended up together!

I actually really liked their relationship. XD He's so laid back, he finds her up-tightness sexy, her rambling to be charming, and her offensive statements to be awkwardly hilarious. Seems as though he also brings her a sort of peace and poetry.

then when she went to stay at the Inn...he went outside and gave her a cup of coffee and let her know he had dreamed about her...
then when the father, Kelly told the family that they were going to open there hearts for her and her sister and the mother mentions the wedding ring...Luke Wilson says...they don't even love each other...
She also reminded him of an old teacher or something that he had a crush on.

Well, apparently it was possible for Meredith's boyfriend and sister! They never met before (Everett only saw a picture of her once), and before the night is even over, they're TOGETHER??? WTF! So they spent the evening talking (while they were supposedly out looking for Meredith), but so what? That's still not long enough to decide you're in love with someone...

That's what I was going to say lac925.. He looked in love at first sight when she got off that bus. What a jerk. You were just buying a ring for Meredith, your girlfriend and you were flirting with Julie. And it seems like Meredith can be herself with Everett's brother. I dont think that was love at first sight, but it was an attraction. You were supposed to go out looking for Meredith, but instead took a walk with Julie then offered to take her for some coffee. --- red flag.
