I never mentioned how much I hated this movie when it first came out, but they keep replaying it on television and it reminds me of how much I hate it!

Could this family be anymore rude, nasty, holier than though, pretentious???...ugh! just every nasty word you can think of ....that's what I think of The Stone Family!

So they don't like someone because she is uptight and wears her hair up in a bun and isn't who they want for their precious Everett?...by the way...what a joke of a man he is!!

A houseguest is treated soooooo horribly and her sister takes off with her fiance and we are all supposed to be okay with this???? are you kidding me????

aaaw such wonderful holiday cheer....give me a break!

May this movie rot in cable limbo until it phases out forever!

This is an excruciating film with a decent cast who all deserved much better. It's by-the-books screenwriting with forced comedy and drama that left me completely cold.

Instead of cable limbo, may it forever rot in the thrift store bin, which is where I found it and where I should have left it. 4/10 stars from me.

This was a waste of a really good cast. What wasn't to like about Meredith? She was smart, attractive, and rich but the grand liberal Stones didnt like her because she acts different than their freak show family. Typical liberal junk, if you are a minority, gay or a terrorist then they worship the ground you walk on, if you are white and you don't do the same, then they turn their nose.

You are so right, I hated how she was treated. And I don't even like SJP, but I felt sorry for her.

I agree 100 percent! The most annoying and least cheerful Christmas Movie I have ever seen. I could not stand that family - the sister was as rude as they come, and shame on the Mother for being just as unkind and thoughtless. Honestly, who do they think they are measuring someone's value as if they were above reproach.

Can't find one redeeming value for this film, and honestly don't know how anyone could like it at all.

I know, right? I sought out this board b/c they've been playing it all week, and I hate this movie and that disgusting, obnoxious, rude family so much!! The Stones are the worst family. As you said every nasty word in the dictionary can be used to describe those jerks!
