Similarities: 'A Cinderella Story vs One Tree Hill'

Ok, first off LOVED this film, which was pretty surprising seeing as I was watching it just after my boyfriend broke up with me, but it put a smile on my face, Anywho I could help noticing the similarities between this movie and my favorite show ever in the world “One Tree Hill” As well as the obvious of Mr. Michael Murray being the super hot sought after stud in it, we also have :

• Kevin Kilner plays Austin’s Dad, he plays Peyton’s dad in One Tree Hill
• Chad plays Austin, a star athlete, popular jock, who’s at first dating a cheerleader, he also loves reading and wants to be a writer, ditto to all of that for his character Lucas in One Tree Hill
• THEY KISS IN THE RAIN!! (that’s totally Haley and Nathan’s thing)
• Austin’s father owns a big car washing place and is slightly controlling, see the most controlling pig headed dad ever, Lucas’s Dad who surprise surprise owns a car dealership

I swear there were more when I was thinking about this last night, anyone else think of any?

Once again not slagging of this film, it’s awesome just comparing two brilliant things 

In OTH Luke isn't popular, his brother is through its not still after he becomes on the basketball team he is. But other then that he only had the friends at the RiverCourt.

Not all of the episodes have Kevin Kilner though. Peyton's dad is also played by Thomas Ian Griffin.

The character of Peyton's dad changed like two times in OTH.
