... And I don't want to sound like a hater, but... damn, it wasn't so bad back then. Or at least it didn't seem so since, apparently, I had very low standarts back in 2004.
I watched it again yesterday and it was painful. ><

Anyone else who liked it in 2004 and then was dissapointed upon rewatching?

Yeah. I was 12 when this movie came out and there's so much nostalgia wrapped up in it for me. Getting the bus on a saturday afternoon with my friends to see movies like Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and A Cinderella Story defined my tween years but of the three, A Cinderella Story is the only one that doesn't really hold up once you've grown up. I loved it at the time but it's not nearly as good as my memory of it.
