Euro Trip was a great movie, but it was severely flawed in that the guy could have just sent her an email from a different email address after she blocked him. No real reason to creepily show up at her doorstep in Germany...
You missed the point. Sure, he could have created another e-mail account, but he's worried that he just fudged things up with a girl he loves, a girl who was going to fly to America just to be with him. Cooper tells him that Fiona is right, that he's so 'predictable' and he wants to do this fantastic thing to kind of show he's not. He also wanted to prove how serious he felt about her. Obviously Mieke had strong feelings for him if she was going to go to America and creating another e-mail address and sending her an apology would have been insincere and she probably would have ignored it. So, the plot isn't flawed, you just have to understand where Scotty is coming from.
Also what he did isn't creepy, it's romantic. Obviously none of you who say otherwise have been in love before, but traveling halfway across the world for a girl is a pretty impressive and touching thing to do.
I thought it had a flawed plot, but for a different reason. He says all he knows is her name, and she lives in Berlin (and presumably that she has a cousin Jan), but they find her flat right away upon arriving. I mean he even states she is unlisted!
Haha, but it is no worse than a Lufthansa plane from Ohio to London... Thankfully is was funny, otherwise the plot holes would be fatal.
Haha, I wondered about that too, but what about this? He thinks that Mieke=Mike and Jahnn=Jan. If he knew any German at all he would have figured the names out pretty quickly. Not that anything in this movie is remotely realistic!
