BIG GOOF......NO-ONE ELSE SPOT IT?????

When Tyler caught Brigitte in the toilets, about to `jack up` the wolfesbane, he then took it off her and squirted it on the floor. Well, if you listen, you can clearly hear him drop the syringe on to the floor. Backing that statement up, the very next frame, shows him slick back his hair, with both of his (empty) hands.
So why doesn`t she just pick it up and use it, instead of licking up the liquid.
Would have added this to the `Goofs` heading but don`t know how.

brigitte is clever enough with the use of IV (injections) from her training from the dealer in the first film (they use cotton wool to remove solids from the monkswood) to know that if she sucks up the fluid from the toilet floor into the syringe she will be injecting massive impurities into her bloodstream. licking it up will pass them into her digestive system but they won't be as harmful. it shows her desperation that she is willing to lick a toilet floor, but self control in that she is still avoiding anything which would quite possibly kill her. she's still a survivor despite her predicament as proven by the fact that she pulls back from cutting he own throat with the glass shard later on in the film. Go B!

The scene did what it had to do: show how desperate she was.

Later she tells that it's no use drinking it and she then drops it into her eyes. She should have done that with the wolfsbane that fell on the floor, but that wouldn't have worked for the film.

I wouldn't call it a big goof.

Good movie by the way, and I never saw Ginger Snaps 1.

then the toilet cleaning chemicals on the floor would probably have blinded her.

I don't consider this a goof.

yeah, you can seriously infect your bloodstream easily by jacking up from some spilled fluids on a bathroom floor, MOST especially a bathroom floor, it would have been to likely to die from some subsequent infection once exposed like that. Filtering is VERY important where blood is concerned. And there was no lycan infection spread to her eyes at the time so she would have had no reason to have given herself drops at the time.

I've always thought this scene was a tribute to a very similar scene in Guillermo del Toro's film Cronos. Except it is blood being licked up of the toilet floor. In both films it demonstrates the desperate situations each character has got into.
