Different kinds of werewolves? (Spoilers)

I just watched the first movie and this one and I'm now curious about something...in the first movie, wasn't both the werewolf in the woods + werewolf-Ginger hairless and had like really broad and weird faces? The werewolf in this movie looked much more like a "classic" werewolf and was all hairy...and didn't its front teeth also look a bit different? (not sure about that one).

Anyway why do you think this is? Were both werewolves in the first movie females or something so that's why? >_>

I think it's more a question of budget than a question of script.
