I'm confused

I dont care if this was already discussed. I'm too tired and lazy to go through the pages. So here goes: What the hell was with the "dead" chick's eye that Ghost placed a penny on? I understand the coin-eye thing. But all of a sudden the dead girl looks at Ghost? And then nobody mentions it again? Was it a trick of the light or something? Was it the director's way for a cheap (and not all scary) scare? And the way they did it was so quick, had to rewind the movie BECAUSE I BLINKED. Anyways, someone help me out? Did I miss something? Or was a stupid effort for a non-scary (but very fu*king confusing) "thrill"?

I suppose, but there was no reaction from Bridget. to me, it would have made more sense.

Ghost thought Beth Ann was dead, but she was still alive. She was probably paralyzed or something.

Out by sixteen or dead on the scene, but together forever

Ghost was the only one who saw it.
She was close enough to see it, and Brigitte was too busy looking for the werewolf

Ghost calls Beth Ann a *beep* and the punchline? Beth Ann heard that.

That's all.
