Is there ever going to be a follow-up to this movie?

This little bit of info. is irritating me extremely. Ghost deserves to have a part in the Ginger Snaps movies as an adult, and Brigitte deserves a bit of an explanation as to what happened to her after her full "turning." After all, I have often wondered what werewolf offspring would look like...hehe! By the way, that is not to say that the Howling movie with marsupials counts. Seriously though, someone please make a follow-up to this film and tell us who the werewolf pursuing Brigitte truly was. Fans everywhere want to know, and let's face it guessing solves nothing.

I hope they never make a follow up to this, and this one shouldn't have been made either. As Walton says at the end of the commentary for Ginger Snaps "we have to stop because this story is over." That sentiment is true yet they didn't really care.

It always seemed clear to me that the wolf pursuing her must have been Jason since the "cure" was only temporary.

Fans everywhere want to know? Maybe they should start by paying attention to the movie. It was definitely the guy that Ginger turned in the first one. In this movie Bridget mentions how Ginger is dead, and when Ghost questions if the Werewolf following her comes from the darkside or something, Bridget tells her that he comes from the suburbs. The only way this would be more obvious is if the werewolf wore a "Hello. My name is Jason" Nametag.

I don't think so. I guess we get that B is a werewolf, and is a slave to Ghost;and Ghost waited for her Barbrea to get back,so she can feed her to B. And it was obvious it was Jason, mainly since Ginger infected Sam and the Janitor, but killed them. They used the monkshood on Jason, but as we seen with B;it doesn't work. It only slows it down. So it had to have been Jason, unless he infected some other people that we don't know about and they knew about B and Ginger and went after Bridget. I find that unlikely though.

Does it honestly matter who the werewolf chasing Bridgette was? Whether he was Jason (which I thought) a random person Jason or her turned, or even just another werewolf who happened to find her one day, it doesn't really matter. I never thought of it as anything more than a horny werewolf.

While it would be nice to know what happened after Ghost locked up her "Hound of hell" and then killed whoever she wanted to kill with Bridgette, I don't think there's enough there for another sequel. There's really nowhere else to go with this story. Heck, with Ginger dead from the first film, putting this together even required a whole new cast with a new situation... and new rules.

They had to explain to use why the Monkshod wasn't a real cure, otherwise there's no point in even having a sequel.

This shouldn't even be called Ginger Snaps 2.

It should have been called Bridgette Snaps.

I'm in the early planning stages for a screenplay which will be a follow-up to this film, although it will take place a while later. It might be called something like Ginger Snaps: Ghost's Reign of Moral Terror (a reverence to something she said in this film).

Ghost would now be an adult (and hopefully played again by Tatiana Maslany, as I don't believe in recasting, unless the original actor is dead). Plus, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Tatiana in this film!!!! xxx Therefore, she is IRREPLACEABLE!

I liked the character of Ghost and enjoy Tatiana Maslany and hope to see her in another one of these films again!

So, please, let me know what you think!

And, I'm an upcoming film writer, so this COULD be LEGAL.

Kind regards

I hated that they followed this with the 'prequel'. This story has LOTS of places to go, unlike an earlier poster said.

It would have to be right tho. Not just a cash in. That's the only reason I wouldn't want a sequel, because the premise (Ghost with her Pet on the prowl) could very easily be taken into general slasher type territory.

Last anything relating to GINGER SNAPS that I can remember was a possible TV series. But we all know that's never gonna happen.
