Their mother would have come home and found a dead werewolf (Ginger) in the house, the house a mess and Bridgette missing.
Even if Bridgette tidied up and got rid of Ginger's body, it seems odd that the mother would just not bother looking for her daughters.
Still, amazing film. Just a shame about that ending.
