I like John Bruce too. He has a very soothing voice. Very pleasant to listen to. He also seems rather grounded and serious, but has a sense of humor. If I had to pick a designer to come to my house, I think it would be him. I've liked his designs better than the others.
Mark seems like a really sweet flamboyant guy. He cracks me up, but I don't care much for his tastes. Although I have to say I love the paint effect he did on the Imaginarium room walls. That was pretty.
I only saw Nadia once and she came off as being rude to Evan and I hated the colors she did in Shiny Happy Stadium. Although it was neat how she etched the design on the stripe thing she put in the middle of the table. But the orange color was too Halloweenish.
Chayse I do not like because she can't seem to make up her mind, or stick to a design. Plus she starts stressing out too much and gets into fights with Andrew. At first I thought it was because Andrew was being a little drama queen whiner, but the more I saw of Chayse's episodes I realized that I would want to smack the hell out of her in Andrew's situation. The woman needs to take some "mother's little helper" and stick to a design without so many changes. Plus I don't really care for her designs. She has had some nice bits, but not my favorites.
I'd love to see Vern Yip come over and do some designs sometime.
Sorry, I know this was about John Bruce but I felt like yabbering about the others as well.
John Bruce is my favorite designer too. I have like all of his rooms that I have seen. He doesn't seem to get as stressed out as the other designers.

shareEh, whatever his orientation, hes talented, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think thats pretty much the most important thing, at least on the show. I loved his untitled room that he did for the SCAD students, although the exquisite corpse table kinda creeped me out, it was really bizzare and neat.
