What was the deal with Miss Alabama? She was repeatedly rude to Evan - not an appropriate show of gratitude for all the work being done. She totally came off like a snob...maybe she never actually saw the show before? So Evan's goofy - it's part of his charm. ;) I rarely even like the designs, I just watch for Leslie, Andrew and Evan. They have great personalities and make the show fun to watch. I really liked Theresa too, but prefer Evan as host if only for his antics.
I missed the episode. What did she do? And what was Evan doing when she was rude? How did he react to her being rude? Did he seem at all bothered by it?
She kept commenting on how strange Evan is and he didn't miss any opportunity to prove her right. Although her boyfriend, whom she was having the room done for, is strange himself and that was proven thanks to the secret shooter.
I just saw it and was thinking it was really weird how she would call Evan "odd". Evan wasn't the one eating fish that fell on the ground. lol. I taped it and watched it closer and started to get that I think she was only teasing for the most part. Although her saying he looked like a complete idiot seemed a bit mean. Did you notice that when he jumped on the diving board and nearly fell, that there were several screams? I loved how both Nadia and Catherine yelled "EVAN!!" when he did that. I'm not sure why there was such a big fuss considering he later jumped in the pool all on his own. The bit with the bee really tickled me. It must've thought Evan was sweet because it sure was chasing him around. Catherine did seem a bit mean in that part too. Of course there was so much edited that we don't really know how she was acting around him off-camera. I did notice that she seemed nicer to Andrew. I got a kick out of Evan painting the wall behind him while listening to Catherine-- even though she didn't seem to notice. I guess what Evan does really doesn't phase me much because my brother is very strange and does alot of weird things. Like rolling down the window and yelling things at people when I was driving by in my car. I still remember when some guy was wearing a hat that said "BITC*" and my bro rolled down the window and screamed "biiiiiitch" at the guy. Evan seems like a nicer, cleaner version of my brother. One who doesn't try to kick his friends in the nuts... Here I am being weird again. lol.
Evan acts like a total kid, and I love his attitude on the show.... He is such a funny guy... And I absolutly LOVED this eppisode b/c there was a lot of good chemistry between Miss Alabama and Evan... I dont think she was mean at all. They seemed to be acting like a brother/sister duo. It reminded me a lot of me and my brother, fighting and and goofing off. I thought it was great! I would totally be like that if Evan and WHYWO were at my house. Its part of Evan's thing, to act goofy and be a little kid type... (a very typical male). Anyway.. I am rambling, but I thought they had good chemistry, she should hit the road with them, keep Evan in line a bit! lol
Yeah. He is a total goofball. My brother watches with me sometimes and his favorite bits are when Evan is goofing off. He loved the bit where Evan was tormenting Jason with a megaphone in the beach episode (known as "half-naked host" episode). And in Wade's VIP room episode when he was wearing the "I'm In Love" shirt and serenading the cast. My brother really enjoyed that. (Evan was super-hyper because his fiance was on the set--not sure if the engagement was official, she apparently proposed to him after only knowing him 2 weeks and he formally proposed on Valentines day and gave her the ring in March). Evan is funny in person too. When I saw him at the expo in Baton Rouge he was still trying to sign autographs when they called him back onstage. He had to run to get to the stairs and when he came out from behind the curtain thingy he crashed into a potted plant. To make up for it he did a somersault forward on the stage. He walks around alot on stage. Hard to get a still photo unless he stops to pose because he's all over the place. He does do funny poses for cameras though. And he loves babies. He spotted a baby near the back of the audience and had to ask the mother how old the baby was. He guessed 6 months and the baby was 5 months. He has a really sweet voice. I wish I had videotaped it. The way his voice sounded when he told me "You are so sweet!" was just adorable (I gave him a gift which is why he said that). I am babbling like crazy..
Wish I was.... but the farthest south I've ever been is Virginia (lol) from Philly here and doubt I'd be able to get down there for it... But thanks for the info!
