Just saw it a few hours ago, and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if their home was destroyed by Katrina.... it's a weird thing, watching these shows and then realizing that a year or two later something so tragic happened.

I believe they said Leslie planned to go back to New Orleans to help fix the room.
The zoo one was destroyed but animals were safely evacuated and kept safe.
I think the saddest news was that the homeowner they did the room for in Mac Attack was killed in a motorcycle accident just months after they did the room for him. :-(
On the bright side, the cancer patient Sam got married and was doing well (from the last I heard).
Thank you, I'd given up all hope of ever finding out.
