no, it was straight to video
Davy and Goliath are moving in next door, there goes the neighborhood.
"I actually saw this movie in the theater!!!!!" I just thought that when reading it.

Well, that depends on what you mean. I just read that review, and I don't disbelieve him. If you mean if it was released in bigtime theaters around the country, then no. But if we are talking about the small, independent theaters around towns, I could believe this would be playing there. There are a lot of 'straight to video' movies that play in small theaters, including shot on video movies like this. 'Straight to Video' does not necesarrily mean that it was just put out on video and that was all that was said. Most movies always play some sort of theatre for a little bit, even stuff like "Violent Sh*t" got some theater play when it was released, or so I've heard.
shareThere should be a festival that the main attraction is that this movie would be played. I would host it in my town for sure, i've had this movie since 02 or 03 when it came out on video (i found it in a cheapo store and though it looked like a bad cheesy slasher hah) and i always tell everyone to check it out to see the worst film EVER. Thank God for movies like this haha.
Damn, I spilled my Big Gulp!
Yes, it was shown in Baltimore as "The Weekend it Lives".
