Was it Shot on Film or VHS?


Ok, I rented it from Netflix and got it today. Some scenes look like it was shot on film but yet it would cut back to this same scene later and you could tell the source looked like a 10th generation VHS copy of the scenes. Can anyone shed some light why the quality keeps drastically changing on this?

Pretty obvious camcorder work at play.


Not that that's a problem in and of itself, I love many shot on video horror movies from around the time this was actually made, but this one is just atrocious.
