A shame it was cancelled....
.....And for what, freaking HUFF?!??
DLM was a unique show with wonderful character development, and I put its cancellation up there with the cancellation of Deadwood, another brilliant program.

DLM pilot director Scott Winant produced and directed Huff. I wonder how different DLM might have been if he directed more episodes and creator Bryan Fuller stayed for more than four episodes.

It really was. I still enjoy the reruns though.

Wasnt it cancelled for no other reason than Bob Greenblatt (head of Showtime at the time)didnt like it? Didnt matter how good it was. It had no future because he didnt want it, ratings be damned.
shareIsn't that how it usually is? I mean, look at NBC's track record. They don't give a S#!T how well a show is doing. If they don't like it, they pull it. Look at Harry's Law, and Awake. Both shows were AWESOME, and NBC pulled them both.
Anyway, I LOVE DLM, and I never could understand why it got cancelled. It had a good cast, good plots, humour, etc. So, I'm guessing that it was pulled because it wasn't liked by the network. I'm just grateful that it's on Chiller sometimes.
Well, so much for it being on Chiller. Apparently they've pulled it from their lineup. *sigh*
shareIt's been on all day...... since they've aired the episodes SO MANY times, already, they have to start airing it less frequently. If they don't, syndication rot sets in, and the show loses its allure.
