Any similar shows?

I just came upon dead like me on netflix instant que and watched the entire 2 seasons and movie within a week. Pretty entertaining although the movie didn't really impress me, I missed Rube.

Are there any shows out there that are similar, I know pushing daisies but mainly I am seeking shows on netflix since I don't rent movies. Just stream on instant que.

imdb recommends Misfits, Wonderfalls, Reaper, Being Human.

Wonderfalls, from DLM/PD creator Bryan Fuller, features a terrific performance from Caroline Dhavernas and has Neil Grayston (Ethan in an ep. of DLM) in a regular role.

Eureka, through not similar, also stars Grayston and is a good show. His character from Eureka was featured in a crossover episode on Warehouse 13 which is also pretty good. Laura Harris was in one episode of season two.

Reaper is a comedy that features Christine Willes in 15 episodes.

Interesting! I didn't know Fargo was in Wonderfalls. That makes it worth a look.

You need to know that there is a UK 'Being Human' which you will find quite dark and gritty compared to 'Dead Like Me'. Nevertheless, George and Mitchell are likeable characters. The US version is essentially the same but not so gritty and was created 2 seasons after the UK version.

In an episode of the terrific Michelle Trachtenberg nurse series Mercy one of the nurses hangs out with the ghost of a guy she kills. I really enjoyed it because it reminded me of DLM. Mercy ran for one season and only costs a few bucks.

In The Freak episode of the cop series BOOMTOWN Mykelti Williamson talks to his buddy who died in Iraq. Boomtown is as good as any series I've ever seen.

Seems like if you are gong to suggest Wonderfalls you also have to suggest Joan of Arcadia since those shows are more similar to each other than to DLM.

If you like Joan you might like Eli Stone, two terrific seasons.

Reaper, Breaking Bad (not much in common thematically but it's a very well written show), Pushing Daisies, Wilfred, Community (group dynamic is just as great as in this show), Skins (UK)...
