I find it strange that is has taken it over 2 year to get this film released. They finished filming over 2 year`s ago.

It's usually a bad sign when a movie is shelved for so long. It means no distributer wants to touch it. Maybe someone bought the rights and re-edited it to make it more watchable. However, good or bad, the movie will probably have very profitable rental business considering it most likely has an extremely low budget.
