Blood and Bone Audio Commentary

Just rewatched BB with the commentary with director Ramsey, MJW, Dante Basco and Michelle Bellegrin. Lots of good info on the making of the film. They reveal that just about everybody even alot of the secondary background characters, in the movie is a real martial artist. Even the guy, Darryl who James stabs in front of his girlfriend while singing Wang Chung songs, is a wushu practitioner. In fact, the girlfriend is Michelle Lee a martial artist and stuntwoman herself. All are friends of MJW. The guy gets mad respect from the whole fight world.

The big gay fighter, "Mommie Dearest" with the curlers in his head toward the beginning is Ernie "The Cat" Miller, former WWE wrestler and former karate champ.

Miller's opponent, whose arm he breaks, is Maurice Smith, former K1 champion and coach to many current MMA/UFC fighters. You always see him in someone's corner during those matches on Showtime and PPV. I didn't recognize him cuz he put on so much weight.

Former judo champion legend Gene LeBell is the orderly sitting outside Angela's room when the thugs come to get her only to find Pinball under the sheets with two guns.

Bob Wall from all of Bruce Lee's movies is O'Hara who throws White the sword in the final confrontation with James.

That gold-toothed dude who White knocks out with one punch is The Rock's cousin and personal body double, Tanoai Reed. He got to show his stuff off in that horrible Blade copy, Against the Dark.
