More Michael Jai White

Michael Jai White needs to make more martial arts films. He is more deserving of a cult status than Steven Seagal or Van Damme in my opinion.

You guys are absolutely right, as he has more talent than both of them in acting and martial arts, and is generally a higher quality performer.

I have to agree with you on all points. Unfortunately I saw Undisputed 2 before I saw the first one. I had no clue the first would revolve strictly around boxing. It wasn't a bad movie, but it had no where near the level of intensity that Undisputed 2 had. As for Van Damme and Segal, I haven't seen Van Damme do much in a while I know he has a couple direct to DVD movies floating around somewhere. Segal on the other hand is beginning to annoy me, seems like he has a direct to DVD out every other week.

if they ever do another blade movie. michael jai white is perfect for the role.

I'll give you guys the fight aspect of it. Michael Jai White would probably hand Van Damme his own ass but to say he's better in the acting department too...c'mon. Van Damme is no Pacino but he's better than Jai White. Have you seen Wake of Death or JCVD? Seagal I won't even comment on because he just all around dull.

i would have to agree that white would beat van damme in a fight. but van damme is in his 40s now. it would be a great fight between a younger van damme and michael jai white. i would love to see white in more movies. m. white is a better fighter now. in his most recent movies van damme is a better actor. and seagal is a big fat joke.

Michael Jai White is in his 40's. He used to train with Van Damme in his younger days too and he trained with Steven Seagal.

I've gotta agree too on that point. I'd just seen Undisputed 2 a couple of months ago and was quite impressed with his martial arts skills, apart from the bonus on the Kill Bill DVD which featured a vignette with Jai White going up against Bill. By the way, no way in hell that short should have ended the way it did with Michael getting his throat slashed by Bill.

Needless to say, Michael Jai White is one of the most impressive martial artists out there. He has experience in so many styles and combined with an insane training discipline this guy is a machine. Just look at his body, ive never seen anyone anywhere near this. He is not just beefed up, he has incredible defined muscles as well. Its so obvious by looking at him that martial arts is his life, he lives and breathes it everyday.

Ive seen two movies that has really blown my mind with regards to martial arts, one is Ong Bak 2 and the last is this one. Its incredible.

I agree. Mike Jai White is one of the very few martial artist making realistic fight scenes today. Other than him I would include Scott Adkins, and Donnie Yen. Michael take very good care of himself. His fighting style is realistic. He doesn't just slug it out like most ppl today but looking for holes and weakness like the forefathers of martial arts before him

MIchael Jai White is the man!! He needs to get more starring roles in action films. I totally agree he'd be a great Blade, and thought they should have gotten him for the series. He would've been great. Hell if they do reboot the franchise, get him. As for ashmorris' list I agree wholeheartedly. He, Scott Adkins, and Donnie Yen are all great martial artists AND good actors and haven't gotten their due. I'm hoping with "Ninja" for Adkins, "Ip Man" for Yen, and "Blood and Bone" for WHite they will get some real recognition. Though if Yen was gonna get it, he would have. I think he got overshadowed by Jet Li, which is a shame. They're BOTH great and both deserve the cult status only Jet Li seemed to attain. Also I should've said Mark Dacascos. He's also really good, reminds me ALOT of Brandon Lee (even played the same character in "The Crow: Stairway to heaven" series and was a friend of Lee's) but he also hasn't gotten alot of good work really. Such a waste.

Van Damme and White have fought before in Universal Soldier 2 I believe, was good *beep* too. Now don't get me wrong, I grew up breathing Van Damme, but I truthfully believe Michael Jai White is -way- underrated and is quite frankly the *beep*
