I'm really excited that GitS predicted a new kind of group behavior only a few years ago =), I wonder if it's going to gain in popularity because of the first major, wide scale, case of a Stand Alone Complex, which is the Anonymous movement.

Yes, i found it funny how they didn't adopt the laughing man logo, would have been a nice homage to GitS :D

What's even more amazing is how proper some of the things Shirow came up with in 1991 are practical examples of the goings-on of the internet today.
