I have a question about episode 12 (the one where Batou's Tachikoma meets the girl who "lost" her dog Locky). Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but besides the young girl they showed with the Tachikoma, there was a another girl(with spikey hair; can't remember what color it was) that appeared in the few scenes in the background. This girl was wearing shorts and her stomach was exposed or something. I'm not sure who she was, or even if this episode talked about her. Anybody know who she is, other than the fact that she could relate to the girl with the dead dog?

she is the major in a younger prosthetic body

Really? That's fascinating. I would have never been able to figure that out. What was the point of showing her when she was younger though?

she was spying on the tachikoma, she observes them a lot throughout the series and the reason should be revealed in episode 15. This also happens to be one of the main themes of the first season. You will understand once you see the last few episodes

Yeah I just got done with season 1 and understood that she had "spied" on them.
