The opening song...

Good Day!

Please let me know in which language it is performed. The song that goes during the finishing credits is definitely in English, but the opening one is not. And it does not sound like Japanese.

FYI I've got 5 DVDs with 1st Season (Japanese soundtrack + subs in my native language).

Awaiting your urgent reply.
Thanks.

The song does have lyrics in russian. Research it. And leave me alone about my signature, jerk. You dont have to like it.

Are you for real? If you've been on this website any length of time, you'd know people have all kinds of things as a signature... political, religious, whatever. You're the very first person to comment on mine. I don't want any attention for it, I just like what it says. You brought this up, you're the one whining about my signature, and I responded to your whining. It obviously doesn't apply to you so don't let it get you so riled up.

But back to the subject of the opening song, Origa was born from Russia and is of russian descent, although she's considered a japanese singer. Also the opening song from the 2nd Gig, Rise, is in english and russian as well.

Ok bro Im done with this. You can't let it go, obviously this means so much more to you than me. You're one of those that can't argue without insulting. Now you're telling me what I'm thinking and trying to explain Christ to me. Right. You called me out for saying that part of the song was in russian and got proved wrong so maybe thats what this is about, I dunno. But as I said before, you don't have to like my signature or any others. If it doesn't apply to you or mean anything, who cares? Didn't mean to be rude, I've just never seen someone so affected by a signature before. Take it easy.

Hi everybody.

I am not sure if this was covered above or elsewhere, but the main female voclaist Origa is Russian and is singing in Russian and English. The male soprano vocalist appears to be singing in Latin and English as well.

The opening lines in the song are: "Angeli i demoni kruzhili nado mnoi, rassekali ternii i mlechniye puti..." Now I'm sure about it. Further on I don't understand. It sounds pretty cool - it really is Russian, descending into Japanese (I guess).

'Lyubi minya, kak ya tibya i budim verniye druzya.'

The one about angels & demons sure is russian. I thought it was pretty clear.

btw I hate all the russian song fad in GITS (i'm russian & dislike 99% of russian music)

Strange. I like approx 3% of all Russian music. But I'm quite sure that Russian and Japanese are the coolest languages ever with English and Deutsch being the next good ones. So, mix of Japanese and Russian here was a very enjoyable surprise...
