Could you explain what you wrote, She was not a hooker seems to not be a factor in the film.

reply

she acts & poses like a hooker. jolie's acting isn't logical.

You stay classy, San Diego.

She had decided she wanted that particular man as her husband, and seduced him, and forced him into marriage by getting herself pregnant... a big risk to be sure, but she knew that the social pressure from her family and his lodge would force him "to do the right thing" and as it turns out she was right. Running away from the "right thing" would have been carreer suicide.

I thought that perhaps - perhaps - she set him up. She was already a fast girl, already pregnant, and sealed the deal that night, thus trapping him. Probably slept with the "wrong" boy, Edward's a good catch. Then, Clover's dad, a Senator, uses his connections to have him spirited away on his wedding day, which probably took place only a few weeks after he met her.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

My take was that Clover was already pregnant when she enticed Edward to sleep with her. It wasn't uncommon for a woman to get seduced by a handsome and personable cad, and then find some guy who would make a good father to her child believe that he was the father. But, it would require that she have sex with him pretty soon after meeting.
