Seriously was it worth even thinking it through.....

Ok, I gotta laugh LOL...........
Ben catches phony wife in the act and yet when she (Debra)comes back asking for second chance he yet even thinks about it (at first he seems undecided). In my mind I was like ''Hello you saw her screwing another guy and yet still consider the possibility of taking her back''.

It does seem like a simple decision. Yet people do still forgive their cheating partners. I tell myself I would never, but maybe I will?

reply

i would seriously. she had a nice package to offer.

reply

Oh really??? I miss that part, what did it contain, the house payment??

reply

really, Polly would dance tango and eat spicy food in a tavern and look for her keys that her pet ate - all days and nights, while Lisa would make me clap my scuba fins as she heals me hurt feelings.

now really really, u takin yourself too seriously. u miss the humour.

What makes it an even easier decision to me is that Jennifer Aniston is so much better-looking than Debra Messing. It's like, hmm, take back the woman who cheated on you during your honeymoon who is not all that great looking to begin with, or stay with the girl who is fun and a hottie. No brainer!

reply

Yeah, but that is the point of comedy. It hurts so much, because it is so true.
Comedy can be quite unsparing with truths!

Many people think about such things. In their inside they KNOW what would be the better decision but they prefer pain and suffering.

You don't marry someone because they're hot, you marry them cause you love them!

Kidding aside, Jennifer Aniston is SO much hotter than Debra Messing.

No, she'd never see me again. I find it hard to be cruel to people, even under those circumstances, so I wouldn't gloat at her holiday romance going west, but she would be dead to me.

To be honest, I would also have walked out on Polly when I saw her doing the dirty dancing - I know he turns out to be gay, but faced with that at the time, I would have moved on straight away. Plenty more fish in the sea and there's no excuse for humiliating yourself by chasing someone not worthy of you.

Yeah, had this happen to me, although lickily I didn`t walk in on them, probably would have killed them both.

But I moved on very quick, destroyed any contact I had with her.

Never doubted my decision.

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if this would be an easy decision. Seeing as he was deeply in love with Lisa before she cheated, and seeing as Polly basically ENCOURAGED Reub to get back with Lisa... I can understand why he'd have trouble. Plus at the time he wanted a wife, which is something Lisa had to offer... even if she was a skanky ho.
