What if biggie got murdered first?

I think this is a good question. I still remember vividly when Tupac was shot, everyday I was waiting for MTV News to *flash* with an attempt on Biggie. It was just that hectic back then. I have no idea if Tupac would've been a target if Biggie was killed first. I still think Tupac's reaction to Biggie's murder would've been way more jarring and emotional then Biggie's reaction to Tupac. Biggie didn't see the connection the way that Tupac did, I think he was busy doing his own thing. I actually admire that about Biggie because Puffy was so damn annoying back then, always in the videos, always trying to rap, but nothing really phased Biggie.

Tupac was most likely either killed by Southside Crips for jumping one of their members (Orlando Anderson), or on hire by Suge Knight because he was about to leave Death Row and had asked their lawyer for financial papers. It was apparently more profitable for Suge to just kill Pac, although he was the driver and would've been at risk too (he had blood on his head, either by broken glass or a grazed bullet).

So it's unlikely to have changed much.

Their deaths were probably not a result of their beef. Maybe Biggie was killed because of the beef between Suge and Puff, but that was already there before Pac was even with Suge and Death Row.

It depends if 2pac would have been foolish enough to go to New York so soon after like Biggie did when he came to Los Angeles.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it wouldn't have. If Biggie got murdered first, I think it would have ended the same with Tupac being murdered months later as revenge.
