Well, it looks like an 80s by the numbers action flick.
And yes, most of them are unwatchable.
How many 80's films have you seen? The 80's were practically the golden days. Then again, I guess you could say that about every decade for cinema down to the 50's.

It was the 70s for me.
It depends what decade you grew up in.
For me, the fashion & music ruined a lot of 80s flicks for me.
I was born in '95. But I have a major appreciation for the old films, mostly from the last three decades of the 20th Century. Some of my favourites came out of the 50's and 60's too, though. Like Bullitt and Ben-Hur.
And here I thought you were a tween with a hatred for anything older than five years. LOL.
