I'm an avid pool player myself, and I love movies with sweet pool moves. I'm not an expert by far but I'm pretty good and I love movies as well.

I don't know, but from what I'm reading this may have the potential to be the next Hustler. Then again that one was a classic that can't be beat, same with the sequel. I mean, Poolhall Junkies wasn't one of my favorites, but I'd like to see PHP bring back some popularity to pool, if only for a little while.

And yet, maybe it won't. When I saw Freddy Prince Jr. was taking the lead, I felt a little skepical. But then again, maybe this is the one he'll be remembered for, and not She's All That. :-( But hey, I think I'll check it out, if it's played with a wide releasing that is.

He did a good job on this film. There's lots of nice pool shots as well, but I'm not sure what they used or didn't. 2nd Unit got all the fancy shots, I wasn't there really.

next hustler? never! and when has pool ever not been popular? i mean it never has been or ever will be the NFL or anything like that, but pool has always, throughout the world, had a huge following.
