...but I've never seen the movie, but the game has me intrigued. It does a terrible job of laying out a cohesive story. I'm hoping the movie will fill in some blanks. It's a short but surprisingly fun game. Pretty easy if you want something to knock out in a day. The baby chews through things in the game, is that actually part of the movie,lol?

Yes, Sunny chews through things both in the movie and in the TV series 2017-2019. I would recommend the series over the movie tbh, though I think I'm in the minority, but the series is more enjoyable imo.

Is the series and the movie the same plot?

Yeah, the series just goes into more depth than the movie, coz it has time to flesh out the book series.
