Why was tv actor Alan Alda in this?

It's a movie. Don't do that to us.

reply

He's literally been in like 35+ movies.

reply

I know but to me he's a tv star, from MASH. Not worthy of the silver screen (despite his academy award nominated performance).

reply

I AM GLAD WHAT MATTERS TO YOU DOESNT MATTER TO ANYONE ELSE.🫤

reply

What a staggeringly stupid comment. Thanks for the entertainment!

reply

I don't like the two worlds mixing.

reply

There are no “two worlds”. There’s just acting: on film, TV, or stage. I guess you also object to Vanessa Redgrave giving her 2 Emmy-winning performances. Or Kate Winslet acting as Mildred Pierce on television. Or God knows how many other principally film actors who’ve done TV.

reply

TV to big screen is more my problem.

reply

Joanne Woodward, John Travolta, Alec Baldwin and scores of others who started in television transitioned to film. Do you have a problem with all of them?

reply

Depends if I knew them as a tv star first.

Example, I don't accept Jennifer Aniston as a movie star because I know her from friends.

And she's not a very good actress.

reply

that was like 50 years ago. How old are you?

reply

Do you mean “chronologically” or “mentally”? Those are 2 very different answers.

Him intend to become a big movie star, so this stuff really, REALLY matters to him. Him delusions are all that him have. Poor, poor delusional Tickets.

reply

Who did he play?

reply

A sleazy, corrupt senator who was trying to bury Hughes competing TWA airline in favor of Pan Am on behalf of their CEO.

reply

He's an actor not just a "tv actor".
