To bad no sequel

I like how this movie was able to stay faithful to the origins of Dracula, The Wolf Man and the Frankenstein Monster all in 1 movie

The one thing I can see being a problem is tying all the remaining Universal monsters (Gill-Man, Phantom of the Opera, Invisible Man, the Mummy) together into a cohesive story. With this movie, at least it's kept simple (they're all minions or victims of Dracula).

The Mummy and Gill Man could be put together plot wise, as the Mummys relics could be in a museum, and someone can bring him back to life. And have a crew out in the Lagoon trying to capture the Gill Man to put him in a museum.

How could there be a sequel after Dracula was destroyed? How could he possibly come back?

reply

Why bring Dracula back though? There's other monsters they could use as the main villain.

Like who?

Like the Invisible Man or the Phantom. Maybe even the Bride of Frankenstein except she's the creation of Dr. Pretorious (since Dr Frankenstein is dead in this continuity).
