Reading the Akasha

The Akashic records have been known in ancient (more ancient than usual - think of the civilizations around and before Atlantis - I think the Veda books still contain some of this ancient wisdom) civilizations, to be a sort of cosmic-spiritual way for planets to record everything that happens on them.

If the machine's future-viewing capabilities were based on something like this, it would be more plausible as to why they can view things from any which angle; if they could basically access 'cosmic knowledge/wisdom' in higher dimensions and such, then the machine could compose and render any visual angle from that multi-dimensional information flow.

So if, instead of the stupid 'curvature-showing lens'-explanation, we would have something a bit deeper, it would be more plausible as to why the machine can see any event from any angle/distance and even inside buildings (which wouldn't happen with the movie's explanation of how it happens).
