Psycho references? Shower head and shower curtain thingy

The shots of the shower head (spraying directly at the viewer) and the thing at the end of the movie like a clear shower curtain (coming off the rings one at a time) seem just like the scenes in Psycho. Did anybody else notice that?

The music is very Bernard Herrmann-esque at times.

In the trivia, North by Northwest is mentioned. So, I would not be surprised if this was also intentional.

Hmmm ... didn't even notice. But then a few things might be different in my Netflix version, because a few things that I thought I hazily remembered from having seen it in a theater weren't there on Netflix.

But, yeah, I would think that reference is inescapable.
