On "The Big Bang Theory", Sheldon's girlfriend Amy upset him by saying Indiana Jones actually did nothing to change the events of the film. As exciting and enjoyable as the first half of this movie was, I have to say the guy actually accomplished nothing, though staying on the phone with Jessica was the most important thing.

-i disagree. he stole the camera from them at the bank.
-he alerted the good cop to the kidnapping in the first place
-his being on the news triggered the cop to double check the woman's phone, causing him to notice the accent, and then send him back to the house.
-he provided the reason for the family to be at the pier in the first place for the final scenes
-he copied the video to his phone before statham could destroy the original
--Halfway... he was on the phone with jessica causing the one cop to come up to the attic to confront her, and cause her to kill him in self defense- this triggered her attempted escape
