I just didn't like him. I didn't like the looks of him or his personality. Why was Anna with him? She was wealthy and beautiful, she could have had any cute guy, why this brutish guy?!

He appeared to love her and care about her very much, even when he possibly knew how much she still grieved for her dead husband.
