This movie should have sizzled. This movie should have had the pacing of a snort of speed. This movie was too quiet, too pensive, too mediocre. What a waste.
shareThe book doesn't exactly "sizzle", at least to contemporary audiences. I thought the pacing and tone of the film matched up well with the written work. As much as can be expected anyway.
