Naked Lunch
Naked Lunch (movie) and believe it or not, Gus Van Zandt's My Own Private Idaho captures the spirit of the beat writers much better than this version of On The Road. It isn't bad, but as most everyone has noticed, there's no soul to the movie. And it's almost like the filmmakers figured this out 1:45 minutes into the movie. From that point on its great. Such a shame. Van Zandt should've directed this movie.
