The whole movie plot became boring since the movie started and i saw Scarlet in it. She was a totally wrong cast for this role (in my opinion) and i think they should have gone with some less common or less known girl. It could be any common girl playing that role but not Scarlet.

She looked nothing like the girl in the painting who had a young, sweet face. Scarlett has more of an overall. lusty sex appeal. She is gorgeous by modern standards but her face isn’t classically pretty enough to stand out in that stark white bonnet and turban like scarf.
The only actress that comes to mind for the part is Jenna Coleman but I think she was too young when this film was made.

This might be the only movie that I didn't pay that close attention to the lead actress because the cinematography was so outstanding. It's the type of movie where you actually pay closer attention to the visuals rather than the actors. There are some amazing sets in this movie.
