I can watch over and over again! It's slow, but has symbolism and scenes that only a certain type of viewer would understand. I loved the setting and how the main characters didn't have to engage in any graphic sex to make it intimate. However, I must admit I want to make a Griet x Vermeer fanfic to remedy that lol. I can dream. :D

I've seen the film three times and each time I find something new. Most of the action was subtle between Vermeer and Griet. . .words were not needed. I think that is what made the film so intimate. .. sometimes silence speaks louder than words.
