I really like the tune (what little I hear of it) and I want to learn to play it. In the scene where Jack Black is just leaning back in his teacher's chair strumming a tune to himself and humming and then he is approached by the two little girls with the "school of rock" band name idea and shirt. Any idea what that tune is he is strumming?

Hahaha, I just re-watched it this morning and wondering the same thing! It sounds familiar somehow. But it could be just pre "School of Rock" tune? (---I mean, he's making up the tune). I don't know.

I've since found it. It's called Computer Man, it's his own song. It's Am, E, F, C, G (without the bass string).
