Blu-Ray 3-D Up-Convert

I heard this film will be upconverted in the blu-ray edition to the new standard 3-D...cant wait if this is true..anyone else hear this?

Hard to go 3D when you film with only a single camera. Also whats the point of going blu-ray if you filmed on 16mm film (Out of focus I might add).
