terrible

This “film” seems to be comprised of nothing but b-roll/filler. The Brown Bunny has to be one of the worst movies I've seen (even compared to Slaughtered Vomit Dolls, Jesus Christ Serial Rapist and Star Wars: Episode One)
A complete waste of time.

You can't actually be serious, calling this an art film. Long drawn out scenes of driving is not art, it's just proof that he had no real story or direction. I understand the “only one girl for me” thing, but this subject matter has been better tackled with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. This trite little flick has the level of artistic merit as Mr. Nanny, with about as much depth as Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. Please don't confuse minimalist cinema with minimal talent. As for the acting (what little there was) is atrocious.
If art films is what you like, may I suggest the following:
1)anything by Alejandro Jodorowsky
2)the Nekromantik series by Jorg Buttereit
3)Werner Herzog's Even Dwarfs Started Small
4)Salo

To say that Nekromantic is an art film is a bit silly, but to say it ISN'T an art film is a bit silly as well. It was clearly - CLEARLY - meant to have some artistic merit to it. Now, whether you think it actually did or not is a matter of personal opinion. But anyone watching it can tell that the director was going for an artistic style (and I'd say that he succeeded to an extent), but artistic style does not equal artistic success.
