Well, let's make one thing perfectly clear...Dr. Phil is a certified psychopath. That's why he's so successful with the show. But then again, a fair majority of his guests are psychopaths / narcissists (intensely craving attention) as well. But I must admit, the show can be really entertaining. I also do agree that he does have the tendency to be rude to his guests. One thing I've noticed about Dr. Phil though, is that if his guests allow him to take control and override all arguments, he'll use that to his advantage. There have been a few episodes where guests didn't put up with his intimidation tactics, and he quickly backed down. So Dr. Phil does have his limits. When the 'cash me outside' girl said something along the lines of, "You were nothing before I came on your show. I made you". lol...as arrogant as that statement was, even Dr. Phil was like, "Ummm...I thank you for that." I mean, he's not even a real doctor. But honestly, the advice he gives is sometimes just as good, if not better, than an actual doctor's. Dr. Phil isn't stupid. He actually does have good feedback and advice at times. But he's on a power-play as well. It's 'his' show...therefore he feels the need to be rude and intimidating, that way he doesn't lose control of his guests. In some ways I understand that, but then again, in certain cases, he should use different tactics; especially with ones that involve mental illness. And I'm not even saying that he's a bad person or anything. I mean honestly, it's the guest's fault. It's not like they were forced to be on his show; and I'm pretty sure his guests are craving attention anyway, and are most definitely getting paid to be on the show. It's cringe-worthy to see some of the guests revealing so many embarrassing, and sometimes downright awful details about their life on television. But then again, it's not like they forced to be on TV. It was their choice.
